During your Challenge, both in Jump 1 and Jump 2 Phases, you’re allowed to keep trades open overnight. Once you become a HyperTrader, you’ll have even more flexibility—there are no restrictions on overnight trading, and you won’t need to close positions at the end of each trading day. However, it’s important to note that weekend trading is not permitted. All positions must be closed before the markets shut down for the weekend. Market timings, which vary depending on the asset and instrument, should be strictly followed. While standard hours are shown on the trading platforms and on our Symbols page, these may shift during major holidays or special events. We recommend keeping an eye on our website for updates as changes will be posted regularly.
If you’re using MetaTrader 5, you can easily check the trading hours. Simply open Market Watch (Ctrl+M), right-click on the instrument, and select Specification. In the dialog box, scroll down to view the Trade Hours for the chosen instrument. These reflect the standard hours applicable on most days.
Important Note: Holding trades over the weekend means leaving positions open after 11:00 pm CEST on Friday. It’s your responsibility to ensure all open trades are closed by 10:00 pm CEST every Friday, whether you’re in the Challenge phase or using a HyperTrader Account. We strongly advise manually closing your trades. While our system is set to liquidate all open simulated trades on Challenge accounts every Friday at 10:30 pm CEST, minor delays might occur. As such, trades may not close exactly at 10:30 pm, and HyperJump Funds cannot be held accountable if accounts are breached because traders didn’t close their trades by 10:30 pm CEST on Fridays.
Drawdown Considerations:
The simulated maximum daily loss resets every day between 11:57 pm and 12:03 am CET. To avoid any disruptions, we recommend not placing trades during this brief window. Losses incurred during this reset period are not our responsibility. Once your final balance or equity (whichever is higher) is recorded for the day, your dashboard will update with your new simulated daily breach level. You’ll need to keep your account’s simulated equity above this level to avoid a breach.
By adhering to these rules, you can ensure a smooth trading experience while minimizing risks.
